Just copped the record and am looking forward to bumping it. With ALL due respect to this amazing woman, artist, and performer who I’ve been a fan of for years… it’s like that?! If I happened to be strollin in Dallas the day of this shoot I’d either injure my head by walking into a tree or pole, or get hit by a car.
when the homie sent this picture over in response to this dude still having a deal when no rapper can release a record, I damned near blacked out laughing. at least he still has a career courtesy of rich white people. if you looked at his myspace page and used that as a meter, he’s released records on more labels than me. shit, he’s even done something for B.E.A.R. (dell or kev, have you seen this record? I haven’t. ever.) according to him! anyway, when we were talking about the state of interesting rap music or whatever and kiki came up, we both marveled at the fact that not only does he still have a record deal with what is viewed as a “reputable label”, but the nigga is allowed to tour foreign terrain multiple times in a season! then I listened to the record again and thought to myself that the picture must be his press pic because ONLY Harry Potter himself could base so successful a career off of something so non-accessible. what was that single off of his record called again? exactly.
some HD video of my last show. got some more coming. what y’all think of my new dancers?
Bearmod on visual concept, second unit camera, and mirrors (design, construction, and on-set wrangling). Look out for an A/V remix by Le Matos (audio) and myself (visual) this summer.
Enjoy!
