Just copped the record and am looking forward to bumping it. With ALL due respect to this amazing woman, artist, and performer who I’ve been a fan of for years… it’s like that?! If I happened to be strollin in Dallas the day of this shoot I’d either injure my head by walking into a tree or pole, or get hit by a car.

Your friendly neighborhood Subtitle has. This is from “felt: true tales of underground hip hop” by Jim Mahfood back in ‘05. It’s on a “guest starring” panel on the cover of a comic within the comic entitled “Heart Break Comics” on which the other guests include MF DOOM, the Ghost of Buffy the Human Beat Box, and Pam Grier. Might be as crev as one can get, though what makes it even more so is that it’s stored in a not so brief case at my crib with other relics that would make Indiana Jones and Ben Gates ish themselves. I got lasers rigged, don’t test.

Bear climbing ladder.

This guy was stuck in a skate bowl in Snowmass, CO. “Officials” lowered a ladder in and he climbed it. Should’ve dropped a board in that piece to see what would happen. Shit, if bulldogs can do it, dude could.

Ewok print

Found this fitting to the crew. If yr not familiar with this cat’s work he’s a true master of his craft of graffiti/fine art, holdin it down for TSL with a bunch of other top dudes in the game. Peep… http://knowngallery.com if ya haven’t. And if you got the scratch to cop a print, do so indeed.

On his first night in NY, and first night in the US for a year and a half, Senor Marks and I got hit up by drunk cholos on my block in Brooklyn out of nowhere (Yes, cholos and Brooklyn in the same sentence). One was way out, stammering, trying to maintain the g-lean then mumbled some ish to which Gino replied, “It’s all good” like Ben Kenobi at a Storm Trooper. We just kept walkin to my building and it was all good, but bet that when the trick wore off on that dude he was confused as all hell. Good look Ginobi-Wan.

“…Ya never thought that Hip Hop could take it this far.”
Copped this gem for a buck when Wherehouse Music was going out of business. Never knew who Big was referencing before that. If you never heard it it’s pretty much a dude rapping in a John Wayne impression about positivity, motivation, dancing, rapping and trail mix as you can see in the track titles. Had to blow up the anti-drug logo, dahaaaaa! I wanna make tees.
